24TH LUNA AWARDS VOTERS CAST BALLOTS

All that is left now is the tallying of ballots and the announcement of winners
to wrap up the 24th Luna Awards of the Film Academy of the Philipppines which will be held on September 16 (a Saturday) at the Grand Pagcor Theater in Parañaque City.

A total of 159 voters—coming from several guilds comprising the academy—chose their best achievements of 2005 in 12 categories of the Luna Awards during voting held at the UP Film Institute last Thursday, August 24. Voters who had taping or shooting on that day were given an extra day—August 25-- to cast their ballots at the FAP office on Panay avenue.

The tallying of the ballots will be undertaken by Malou Villarey & Associates which will forward the results to academy officials during the awards night.
