LUNA AWARDS UNFOLDS ON SATURDAY
It’s all systems
go for the 24th edition of the Film
Academy of the Philippines’
annual Luna Awards which unfolds on
Saturday at the PAGCOR Grand Theater,
Casino Filipino, Parañaque
City, Metro Manila.
The glittering awards
ceremonies, to be produced by Eight
Elephants Production of Harlene Bautista
and Romnick Sarmenta, will be predominantly
Filipiniana in motif—from the
dress code to the added attraction
which will focus on the country’s
eight UNESCO heritage sites.

The UNESCO heritage
sites that will be mentioned in between
the awards are the Tubbataha Reefs,
the Puerto Princesa Subterranean Park,
the Banaue rice terraces and the entire
town of Vigan, and four centuries-old
baroque churches, namely the San Agustin
Church in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, the
Nuestra Señora dela Asuncion
church in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, the
Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Church in
Miag-ao, Iloilo, and the San Agustin
Church in Intramuros.
Eight Elephants Production
