FILM VIEWING FOR FAP AWARDS STARTS ON MAY 7

The 25th or silver anniversary version of the Luna Awards of the Film Academy of the Philippines is tentatively scheduled on July 21 this year after a three-tier process of selecting the winners.

The Academy has released the official schedule for the guidance of the citers, nominators and voters who will comprise this year’s groups of peers who will wean out the best in performances and achievements turned in by the film industry’s performers and craftsmen.

The viewing of films by for citers will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the FAP Boardroom, OctoArts Bldg., 108 Panay Ave., Q.C.
Two films will be previewed in one day with screenings scheduled for
1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Nominators will view the cited films on a Monday-Wednesday-Friday basis with 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. screenings—also at the FAP boardroom.

Voters will view the films which have garnered nominations in all the categories at the UP Film Theater in Diliman, Q.C. on a daily basis with 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. screenings.
